The Blog made its appearance on the Internet on October 5, 2013. The first article that served to introduce the blog was THE BIG PICTURE. Since then, 14 more articles including this one were published and close to 2,500 comments were generated by interested site visitors and myself. And to this day, a total of almost 200,000 site visitors have also browsed through the blog.
I am really proud of everyone who took time to participate with enlightening comments. I am equally proud to mention that all the comments were respectful of each other and everyone’s opinions. This is great in our democratic society of today.
I do not anticipate publishing anymore articles in this blog. However, I do recommend that anyone who is interested and wishes to post comments of interest to be shared with everyone else via the Internet world, please continue to do so. The blog was designed to be a platform where anyone can share constructive, informative and respectful comments, whether anonymously or otherwise, may do so and obtain comments from regular or new visitors without any fear of criticism or reprisal. In summary, the blog was designed for the purpose to help and support each other with sincerity, and once again, respect for all.
I urge everyone to continue contributing worthwhile comments to be shared with blog participants and visitors. There are several articles that posts may be added under, such as, “It’s Now Your Turn”, “Focus” and my favorite “It’s A Math, Math, Math, Math World”.
I may occasionally post some comments here and there. But rest assure, I will certainly continue to browse through the blog and read past and recent comments posted.
In closing this article, I would to thank everyone for the wonderful time and informative comments that I have enjoyed reading, along with the interchange I have had with repeating and new commenters. I would also like to wish everyone all the very best in your personal and work lives.
Take good care of yourself, your families and friends, and please retain a positive outlook and creative attitude throughout your life. I will now turn over the remainder of this article to Lindsay, as he would like to share a few words with you all as well.
Hello to all you bloggers out there, it is your friendly neighbourhood designer! When Mathieu and I discussed the possibility of creating a blog, we had no idea it would generate the amount of visitors and comments as it has. As Mathieu mentioned, even more surprising is how all your comments were done in a respectful and friendly manner. In a society where manners and politeness seem to be on a decline, it is nice to see that there are still respectful people out there. This blog is proof of that, and leads Mathieu and I to believe that there is still hope for our society.
This blog will continue to be an outlet for reflective thoughts and a place to express ideas. That’s the beauty of a blog. It will always be there, as a reference point when needed. The blog will continue to live on, and as Mathieu stated, we will continue to post comments from time to time. So this is not a “good-bye”, more of a “so-long”.
Your ideas are always welcome, and you all can continue to post your thoughts, and even add new ones if you want. In a way, we are turning the blog over to you all, so take this opportunity and shine! Think of the blog as the “Chalkboard of Life”. You get to leave your mark on a piece of history. There is plenty of space for you to write what you want, and you can write when you want. It is really up to you on what you can bring to this blog, so that it can continue to grow and blossom into something even more special.
So as Mathieu stated, keep those creative ideas going. Never give up on your dreams, as you imagination is something that should be expressed openly and freely.
Sincerely,
Mathieu F.M. Phillips & Lindsay
